Sunday Morning.

Gorgeous day today! I went out and took pictures in Downtown. Not too many but some simple ones. As you can tell I love taking photographs & I always have my camera with me for those "Kodak moments" even though I have a Canon. I love taking pictures without the flash on. The color is so much better that way. Anyways I don't have much to say today. Consider this a Picture Blog. =]

Whatever happened to those big bulky things glued to the wall that you put 25 cents in .....how do you say, payphones ? We've come a longgg way in such a short time.

I was watching a commercial yesterday about gem stickers for little girls & it was advertising to put them on your binder, purse, cellphone, back pack ........ wait, go back two. CELL PHONES ? These little girls were literally like what, 5 yrs old? I can't go no where without my cellphone, and everywhere I go, everyone has one ! What kind of phone do you have and why do you love/hate it ?

after the storm.

Well today was just a blahhh day. The infamous hurricane Ike made land Friday night/Saturday morning. I was at my aunt's house and the light just went out. People, I've never been through a hurricane and I never again want to experience it. We came home around 2 pm on Saturday and our house was in tact. I was so thankful. the power was out though but it came back that night at 10pm. Nothing is open with the exceptions of a Walgreens & Kroger. Everything else, dead. What an experience for Houston, Tx & it surrounding towns. I thank God everything went well for us, & pray for the less fortunate.
